Ep. 1: Revisiting Renovations in California, Michigan and North Dakota
First, we check in with the Griggs family of Orange County, California, who were able to leave their cramped townhome, and spend $1.5 million dollars on a bigger place, thanks to Dad's successful internet business. But the real work started after they found their home, as they launched a massive renovation project that came with unexpected surprises, not all pleasant! Next, we see how Brandon Dalaly used a $300,000 budget to buy a modest condo in Birmingham, Michigan, and turned it into a bachelor's paradise, featuring a toilet you have to see to believe. Finally, we return to Fargo, North Dakota, where emergency room doctor Mary Aaland, armed with a $700,000 budget, transformed a historic mansion into an entertainer's dream!

Ep. 2: Revisiting Renovations in Missouri, Washington DC and Tennessee
First, we head to St. Louis, Missouri, where JD and Kristin returned after years spent living in cities around the world, to raise their young daughter near family. Armed with a $600,000 budget, they found a mid-century home with good bones, but in terrible condition, and embarked on a massive renovation project that took much more time and energy than either of them expected. Next, we check in with newlyweds Joanne and Justin, who loved living in Washington, D.C., but hated sharing a place with two roommates. Finally, we head back to Nashville, Tennessee, where singer Seana and her new husband Michael used their $650,000 budget to buy a home with a perfect lakeside setting, but serious issues inside. Their renovations, as well as their major lifestyle changes, are truly unexpected!

First, we return to Portland, Oregon, where TV weather forecaster Sophie and her salesman husband, Donovan, decided to used their $250,000 budget to buy the worst house on the best block. They took on a major renovation, all by themselves, and the results are remarkable. Next, we check in with Jamie and Ben, first time buyers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who managed to find a home within their $300,000 budget with everything they wanted, except a driveway! You'll see what it took to turn their promising place into something perfect, just in time for a very special surprise. Finally, we head to Cincinnati, Ohio, where single dad Doug was prepared to spend $2 million dollars on a spacious home to host his three daughters. He found a fixer-upper in a gorgeous setting, but when he embarked on his renovation project, discovered it was going to take a lot more than he ever imagined to create his ideal family home.

She chose an unfinished place with an unforgettable view, and launched a renovation to create her own tropical paradise. Her new home and new life are full of surprises.

Ep. 5: Revisiting Renovations in California, Wisconsin and Georgia
We start in Los Angeles, CA, where home designer Rudi & attorney Jake had $1.4 million to buy a house, & found one that needed a major overhaul. Despite Jake's insistence on preserving the original features AND their renovation budget, Rudy took over, & transformed their plain bungalow into a sophisticated showplace that attracted some unexpected attention. Next, we check in with Wisconsin newlyweds Tom and Kelsey, who could afford $150,000 to buy their first place. They opted to take on a fixer with a horror movie bathroom, & turned it into the ideal family home. Finally, we return to Roswell, GA, where Alex, Liz & their four children were forced to downsize from their 7000 square foot dream home after Alex's job was eliminated. Armed with a $400,000 budget, they found something smaller with lots of promise, but in need of work. Alex took on the task single-handedly, creating a new dream home for the family & learning a new definition of happiness along the way.
