Ep. 1: Black Fox
Britt is attacked by a group of bigots, led by Carl Glenn whom he ably defeats. Angry at being bested by a black man, Glenn seeks revenge and that night visits the Johnson homestead.

Following Britt Johnson's courageous rescue of the women and children of the settlement, taken hostage by Kiowa Indians in BLACK FOX, one woman, Delores Holtz, decides to stay with a Kiowa native, Running Dog, with whom she has fallen in love. Her racist, abusive husband, Ralph, blames Britt for the situation and organizes a hunting party of vigilantes to accompany him into Indian territory to recapture her.

Ep. 3: Good Men and Bad
With the outbreak of the Civil War, word arrives that two Indian tribes, the Comanches and the Kiowas, have joined forces under Little Buffalo, whose goal is to drive the white man out of Texas. In a surprise raid while the men are away, the Indians attack, taking hostage every woman and child they can find. While not all the settlers agree, it is decided that because he is black, Britt will have the best chance to negotiate with the Indians, and he takes off alone for a journey deep into hostile Indian territory.
