Ep. 1: A Happy Family
Defense Attorney Mikael Frank is called to Western Prison, where 17-year-old Tobias is sitting, charged with attempted killing of his father-in-law. The young man strongly denies guilt and explains that a random drug addict fired the hunting rifle - five times. The father-in-law is totally invalid and Mikael Frank gets his case for defending Tobias. The colleagues at the law firm Frank & Christensen doubt that star lawyer Mikael Frank can get the young man acquitted, but then Patrik Larsen appears. He has just been tested and wants to have a job with his former defender. Patrik speaks of an unauthorized investigation into the drug environment in an attempt to find the right perpetrator and at the same time win the lawyers' trust. Meanwhile, in the Eastern District Court, Mikael Frank ranks the tragic story of Tobias' family.
