Ep. 1: Episode 1 (2008-03-17)

The gangster “EAGLE” CHAN KAI YING is doing illegal affairs in a restaurant. CHEUNG CHING YEE and YING CHING CHING work closely together to arrest him. At the same time, YUE CHI LONG is carrying out investigation on a stealing case in the restaurant as well. Without realizing the presence of the other side, LONG and CHING run into each other during a chaotic moment and they mistakenly point their guns towards each other. Coincidentally, reporters arrive at the site and they take pictures of the whole scenario. LONG and CHING are therefore scolded by their boss harshly for ruining the image of the police force. LONG possess extrasensory ability. While investigating a murder case with his boss LAW SIR, they discover a plate of dog’s food in the murder site. When LONG touches the dog’s food, he suddenly feels the endless barking noise of a dog……
Ep. 2: Episode 2 (2008-03-18)

LONG and CHING are transferred to the Death Investigation Extension which is actually a unit to accommodate those who have been sent away by their supervisors and their duty is to investigate unsolved cold cases. LONG’s colleagues SIU FUNG and MEI WAN are startled by the strange incidents happened in the old police station and LONG tries to resolve the riddle by logical thinking. YEE feels that he is responsible for CHING’s transfer and he voluntarily asks to join D.I.E. as well. The team receives a new request to investigate a case of HO WING SUM. SUM is the wife of a rich trader KWAN TAK MAN but MAN has been kidnapped three years ago. SUM blames MAN’s younger brother TAK MO for asking the psychic ELSIE MURDOCH to bring MAN’s spirit back. She feels emotionally hurt by his action and decides to call the police. During the Spirit Returning Ceremony, MAN’s testament is found which stated that all his fortune would be assigned to MO……
Ep. 3: Episode 3 (2008-03-19)

TSUN and LONG carry out investigation on MURDOCH’s death. LONG speculates that MURDOCH is killed by a scarf. TSUN appreciates LONG’s wittiness but CHING believes that he is just showing off. While the police move the dead body, they discover the word SUM on the ground. LONG asks YEE to replay the flow of the case and believes that it is impossible to write a word while the person is fighting to death. LONG recalls the memory of MURDOCH before her death by his extrasensory ability and discovers lots of suspicious points. LONG tries to question MO and discovers that MO was unable to pay the ransom money for MAN three years ago because their company was having financial problems during the time. LONG finds that the clown shape logo on the testament is same as MO’s company logo, he suspects that MAN is still alive. MUK LAN finds that YEE concentrates himself fully on works and martial arts……
Ep. 4: Episode 4 (2008-03-20)

LONG wants to reveal his speculation to all team members but CHING announces to everybody that MAN’s dead body is found. TSUN finds a witness KAI who claims that he has drove a mysterious man at the crime location and some credit card information were left behind. TSUN decides to accuse MO for murdering MAN but MO fights back. MO claims that he met MAN three months ago and MAN told him that he had been cheating to get benefits from the insurance company. MAN also told him that SUM is committing adultery and he wanted MO to help him. LONG utilizes his extrasensory ability again and he finds some hints from a girl. MUK LAN asks YEE out for she has arranged a blind date for him but the lady fails to attend the meeting in the last minute. CHI CHING decides to attend the meeting personally to apologize to her client. YEE misconceives that CHI CHING is coming for the blind date and he develops good feelings on her……
Ep. 5: Episode 5 (2008-03-21)

CHI CHING meets her long lost father YUE TAI HOI and finds out the reasons for his disappearance. LONG learns from MO that MAN has sent him a message before his death. WAN helps LONG to get the message and it was a photo of an ancient clock. TSUN tries to gather evidence to prove that MO is not at the crime location during the murder. He finds that the villa is managed by SUM’s lawyer LI TAK KWONG. LONG and TSUN visit SUM and they lie to SUM that MAN’s mobile phone might be left at the crime location. SUM and KWONG therefore rush to the villa at night… CHOI WAN hurts her eye accidentally. LONG is suddenly inspired at the clinic and understands how MURDOCH had died. TSUN invites CHING to his mentor SI TO Sir’s party and CHING accepts his invitation. LONG finds that CHI CHING becomes strange. He worries that she is cheated by a bad guy so he tails after her to the hotel……
Ep. 6: Episode 6 (2008-03-24)

The fire alarm at the hotel is on suddenly. CHI CHING and HOI run away frighteningly. CHI CHING successfully hides HOI away from LONG. KEI interviews TSUN’s unit and she becomes close with TSUN. The magazines publish some intimate photos of KEI and TSUN but CHING expresses that she trusts her boyfriend whole-heartedly. FERGUSON decides to carry out investigation on the murder case of CHAN KEUNG. CHING believes that the creditor UNCLE NINE is the most suspicious person while LONG thinks that there is a story behind this murder case. They therefore make a bet with each other on the case. CHI CHING asks HOI out again. LONG tries to tail after her but CHING prevents him from going. LONG therefore asks YEE to help. YEE realizes that LONG’s sister is CHI CHING and he is overjoyed. YEE discovers the relationship between HOI and CHI CHING but he promises to keep the secret……
Ep. 7: Episode 7 (2008-03-25)

LONG misconceives that HOI leaves the family because he has committed adultery with KAM. HOI reveals to CHI CHING that KEUNG is his good friend and he helps KAM just because she is leading a straitened life with her son. LONG wants to give up investigating KEUNG’s case but YEE assures him that HOI has not committed adultery with KAM. LONG suddenly gets extrasensory hints and he sees a rose tattoo. LONG learns that a person called TAI FEI is highly relevant to the case but he has disappeared for many years. CHING finds that KEUNG’s guarantor TAI FEI is actually HOI but she tries not to reveal this to LONG. MEI suggests CHI CHING to tell LONG that she has reconciled with HOI but CHI CHING thinks that it is not the right time yet. LONG discovers the truth eventually and he quarrels with CHI CHING. He finds an old photo of HOI and KEUNG that shows a tattoo on HOI’s body. CHING and YEE call HOI for investigation……
Ep. 8: Episode 8 (2008-03-26)

HOI reveals that he had stayed away from his gangster friends after meeting LONG’s mother CHING YEE. One day, KEUNG suddenly came and asked HOI to be his guarantor. HOI later discovered that KEUNG didn’t return the money and he had even got a mistress. HOI went to question KEUNG and hurt him accidentally. On the next day, KEUNG was died and HOI ran away to Taiwan to escape from the guilt. CHING goes to the elderly center to look for the witness CHU for investigation. CHU’s grandson tells CHING that another woman had came out of the murder location during that time. LONG and CHING review the past documents again. LONG suddenly gets extrasensory hints and sees a skeleton ring. HOI is released and he meets an old friend BILL. BILL tells him that he had revealed to KAM that KEUNG had committed adultery before KEUNG’s death. KAM’s son tells HOI that KAM is acting strangely in the past few days……
Ep. 9: Episode 9 (2008-03-27)

HOI suddenly surrenders himself to the police claiming that he has murdered KEUNG. TSUN asks HOI to replay the whole murdering process but HOI acts ambiguously. TSUN becomes suspicious and decides to further investigate the case. YEE has picked up a skeleton ring left by KAM’s son KIT and LONG believes that truth will be revealed soon. YING NAM celebrates wedding anniversary with TAK and CHING discovers that laurel flower looks like rose very much. She remembers that the godmother of KIT is called UT KWAI and this name means laurel flower. KWAI worries that she will be arrested soon and she tries to run away. On her way to the train station, KWAI learns that KIT has got a heart attack and he has been sent to the hospital. KWAI rushes to the hospital and she finds that the police is arresting KAM. HOI is released but he feels depressed that LONG hasn’t come to pick him up. CHING is treating LONG nicely and everybody is surprised……
Ep. 10: Episode 10 (2008-03-28)

HOI is not suffering from cancer. CHI CHING and MEI lie to LONG because they want to take HOI back and they ask HOI to keep the secret. A woman commits suicide at MEI WAN’s housing estate because she is not satisfied that the murderer of her daughter is not arrested yet. YEE promises the woman to follow up the case personally. He finds that the woman’s daughter ANNIE has joined speed-dating event organized by a marriage bureau before her death. LONG finds that ALEX, a very high quality man, likes to join speed-dating events all the time and he asks YEE to pay attention to this person. CHING meets KAI YING again and she discovers that they are transacting munitions. CHING nearly dies when investigating the case but she finally manages to escape. She returns home and suddenly remembers the date with TSUN. TSUN is very upset and their relationship further deteriorates……
Ep. 11: Episode 11 (2008-03-31)

WAN meets LONG for dinner but the female ghost SIU YEE plays tricks on her again. WAN is frightened to death and she no longer dare to date with LONG again. PUI recognizes that another dead person BETTY has joined the speed-dating event before. TSUN carries out investigation on a suspect BOSCO. BOSCO had sex with BETTY before but he has an alibi during the murder period. LONG brings HOI to the doctor and finally discovers that HOI is not sick at all. TSUN is upset that CHING keeps mentioning LONG during their date. Meanwhile, KEI suddenly invites him out through SMS… The business performance of MEI’s marriage bureau is becoming worse after the murder case. In order to keep a frequent customer Mr SZE, MEI arranges a date for CHI CHING and SZE. SZE declares his love to CHI CHING. YEE passes by during the moment and CHI CHING claims that YEE is her boyfriend. She holds YEE’s hand and leaves……
Ep. 12: Episode 12 (2008-04-01)

LONG realizes that the suspect’s next target is his sister CHI CHING. He tries to call her but he cannot get hold of her at all. LONG utilizes his extrasensory ability to find the hiding place of the suspect. Everybody arrive to discover that CHI CHING is trapped inside the house and the suspect wants to commit suicide with her. YEE is very nervous and rushes out to protect CHI CHING. CHI CHING goes to the elderly center to do voluntary works and she meets LAN. LAN pretends that she is suffering from dementia to check out the true colours of CHI CHING. LONG helps SIU FUNG to investigate a missing case of the old man CHOI and they discover the dead body of CHOI at the hill right above a war game playground. LAN asks YEE for a blind date with CHI CHING. YEE doesn’t know who he’s going to meet so he asks WAN to pretend to be his girlfriend. CHI CHING is shocked to see them together and she leaves angrily……
Ep. 13: Episode 13 (2008-04-02)

LONG and CHING go to have a walk along the beach. SIU YEE pays special attention to CHING for she wants to ensure that CHING is not falling in love with LONG. LONG carries out investigation at the elderly center and he sees a lot of paper cranes through his extrasensory eyes. CHING realizes that TSUN has been telling lies and TSUN promises that he will not see KEI again. LONG finds the answer eventually and he brings CHING to Kat Cheung Elderly House to carry out investigation. They find that MAN CHEUNG is the owner of the elderly center. CHING discovers that SAM SHUN is joining the activities at the elderly center and the resident MUI PO sends paper cranes to CHING. SHUN, MUI and CHEUNG are old friends. TSUN deletes the phone number and all messages of KEI and CHING decides to forgive him. CHEUNG informs the police that MUI is missing. TSUN carries out investigation and discovers the dead body of MUI……
Ep. 14: Episode 14 (2008-04-03)

TSUN cannot control himself properly. He ends up having sex with KEI and he is tormented. FERGUSON moves to a new home and he holds a house warming party. LONG visits him and he sees some images from an old mirror upon touching it. After investigation, the police discover that a murder case has happened in this house before. The dead woman CHING WAI FONG’s boyfriend is a very famous man in town called YAN HEUNG WING. LONG carries out investigation on FONG’s plastic surgery doctor LAW FONG GOR but he discovers nothing. TAK finds that her friends are playing love games on the internet and she feels interested. CHI CHING meets YEE and they buy cat food for the stray cats. Inspired by YEE, LONG finds new hints for FONG’s case. LONG tries to search for FONG’s autopsy report but it is missing. TAK uses PUI’s information to find an internet lover but this lover wants to meet her in real……
Ep. 15: Episode 15 (2008-04-04)

TSUN reveals to LONG that he still loves CHING and he tries to declare his love to CHING. However, while meeting CHING, TSUN suddenly receives KEI’s SMS saying that she’s going to commit suicide. TSUN sends KEI to the hospital and he is deeply touched by her determination in love. TSUN decides to stay with KEI eventually. WAN receives porn video from the internet but she cannot find the original sender. TSUN asks CHING out. He tells her that he wants a separation and CHING is shocked. WAN receives the porn video as well. LONG discovers that the background of the video is GOR’s clinic and he suspects that GOR is a satyr. CHING remembers that PUI’s new friend is also a plastic surgery doctor with the surname LAW and she rushes to his clinic. CHING carries out investigation on WING with YEE. She reveals that FONG had aborted her baby in front of WING’s parents……
Ep. 16: Episode 16 (2008-04-07)

SIU YEE gets an electric shock and LONG is able to see her. SIU YEE is actually the little girl rescued by LONG seven years ago. LONG asks SIU YEE to reincarnate but YEE doesn’t even know why she had died. LONG therefore decides to investigate SIU YEE’s death for her. Dr LAW meets with TSUN and he asks him to reduce his penalty in exchange for an important hint of WAI FONG’s case. KEI steals a glance at TSUN’s confidential documents and she discloses WAI FONG’s case in her magazine. TSUN tells CHING that Dr LAW had referred WAI FONG to another doctor SHEUNG HONG for abortion. CHEUNG hands over WAI’s postcard from Japan to YEE. TSUN questions KEI for the disclosure of WAI FONG’s case in the magazine and they start a quarrel with each other. LONG reveals the story of SIU YEE to CHING. SIU YEE asks CHING to lend her body to her so that she could have a date with LONG for one day. CHING agrees eventually and SIU YEE tries to possess her……
Ep. 17: Episode 17 (2008-04-08)

LONG finds that CHING is faint in the bathtub and rescues her immediately. LONG reveals the fact to SIU YEE then asks her to leave immediately but SIU YEE doesn’t want to go. HOI suspects that LONG is harassed by a ghost and LAN asks a master to catch the ghost. LONG learns about this and he rushes back home to save SIU YEE. SIU YEE realizes that LONG cares about her very much. She feels relieved and decides to reincarnate. Before she leaves, she reveals to LONG that his life sign doesn’t match well with CHING. If he insists to date with her, CHING will be in danger. The team discovers that FONG’s postcard was sent in Japan but they couldn’t find any related boarding record. YEE lies to LAN that he is already dating with CHI CHING. CHI CHING is very angry to learn about this. MEI’s daughter MINNIE fights with her classmate and she is punished by the headmaster. MEI picks her up and she scolds her for her misbehavior……
Ep. 18: Episode 18 (2008-04-09)

MINNIE is the only witness of the murder. She is frightened to death and she cannot speak a word. The police try not to disclose MINNIE’s identity to the public in order to protect her from possible harm. TSUN has become the main suspect of the murder and the police decide to arrest him. The doctor is not able to identify the real cause of KEI’s death after a postmortem examination. CHING asks LONG to utilize his extrasensory ability again and LONG sees a medal from a shooting contest. HONG’s clinic is suddenly on fire. HONG reveals that KEI has tried to buy the DNA report of WAI FONG and LONG therefore suspects that WING might had killed KEI. LONG discovers that SZETO PING had told lies for WING in the court. PING and WING are arrested. PING admits that he had told lies in order to protect WING and WING insists that he is not the murderer. TSUN goes to PING for help and he reveals to PING that MINNIE is the witness of the murder……
Ep. 19: Episode 19 (2008-04-10)

The murderer learns that MINNIE is the only witness and he tries to kill her. Luckily, LONG and the others arrive on time to rescue MINNIE and the murderer is arrested as well. After the incident, TSUN wants to reconcile with CHING but CHING doesn’t give him any feedback. CHI CHING meets YEE in the pet shop. YEE invites her for a drink and CHI CHING is delighted. YEE and CHI CHING meet SZE NGA. NGA chats with YEE enthusiastically and CHI CHING is surprised. It is proved that WING is not involved in WAI FONG’s case and WING celebrates with everybody happily. WING’s old classmate KAM SHING tries to look for WING. WING gives him a cheque and asks him to leave immediately. CHING witnesses the scene and she reveals to LONG that WING might be involved in the death of her old classmate CHOI NEI. LONG invites PONG to have tea with HOI and they meet SHING at the restaurant……
Ep. 20: Episode 20 (2008-04-11)

SHING falls down from YAN’s building and he dies on the street. LONG finds his death suspicious. CHING believes that WING is the murderer and she tries to arrest him. However, WING provides lots of evidence to prove that he is not at the spot and CHING leaves disappointedly. LONG sees some words on a toilet’s mirror through his extrasensory ability. He tries to carry out investigation at YAN’s building and discovers that the mirror on the 16/F is replaced recently. TSUN continues to pursue CHING. CHING asks LONG if she should reunite with TSUN. LONG asks her to make her own decision and CHING is disappointed. LONG is drunk. MAN LUNG asks CHING to take care of LONG because he has a date with CHI MEI. CHING discovers that LONG is keeping her photo and she is overjoyed to learn that LONG actually loves her. LONG wakes up to find CHING besides him and he finally reveals his love to her……
Ep. 21: Episode 21 (2008-04-14)

NAM and the others rush to the hospital to visit CHING. LONG is worried that CHING will continue to have accidents if he continues to date her. YEE brings soup to CHI CHING’s office. PUI claims that CHI CHING is trying a wedding dress. MEI further claims that CHI CHING will get married and move to overseas soon. YEE rushes to the wedding dress shop and declares his love to her. They finally become lovers but CHI CHING asks YEE to date with her secretly. LONG carries out investigation at YAN’s building and he discovers new hints in the toilet. LONG finds that CHI CHING goes into the hotel with a man, he keeps tailing after her. He is shocked to find that the man is YEE and he hits him angrily. CHI CHING is enraged and MEI asks LONG to apologize to her. YEE returns to the office embarrassedly with bruise on his face. LONG finally accepts him as his sister’s boyfriend and YEE is overjoyed……
Ep. 22: Episode 22 (2008-04-15)

TSUN arrives at the car park to investigate and he suspects that somebody has kidnapped WING and CHING. The secretary receives a blackmail letter and WING’s father FU is shocked. CHING and WING are trapped inside an abandoned warehouse. CHING feels languid after an anaesthetic injection. The kidnappers take video of WING and ask FU to pay 50 million dollars to them. TSUN finds that HEUNG KWONG is acting calmly and he suspects that he is involved in the case. CHING persuades WING to run away together but the kidnappers capture them again. FU agrees to pay the kidnappers. TSUN follows FU but he couldn’t find any trace of the kidnappers. LONG suspects that they are being drawn away. FU has actually asks KWAN to pay the kidnappers but KWAN is killed at the scene. CHING finds that WING has been fainted for a long time and she worries that his life is in danger. At the same time, smokes suddenly come in from the door…
Ep. 23: Episode 23 (2008-04-16)

TSUN discovers KWAN’s dead body besides a lost car and the abandoned warehouse is on fire. LONG and TSUN rush into the warehouse to rescue CHING and WING. LONG suddenly gets extrasensory hints upon touching a telephone inside the warehouse. TSUN discovers that KWAN always likes to peep ladies’ underwear by putting a camera inside the clock. TSUN finally realizes who is the person behind the scene. On the other hand, LONG is inspired by FUNG and discovers many suspicious points in the case. WING and KWAN are actually the “director” of the kidnapping. They want CHING to become the witness. LONG believes that KWAN has got important evidence of WING’s crime and he discovers a CD-Rom from him. WING begs NGA to help her by reuniting with YEE so that NGA could steal the CD-Rom from YEE. NGA reunites with YEE. She is too excited that she faints.
Ep. 24: Episode 24 (2008-04-17)

NGA asks YEE to steal the CD-Rom for her but YEE rejects. NGA tells YEE that WING is actually his brother and YEE feels uneasy. LONG discovers that the CD-Rom is protected by password and he asks computer experts for help. CHING asks LONG to attend her father’s birthday celebration but LONG reveals that he wants to break up with her. LONG claims that CHING is no longer special to him. TSUN questions LONG and LONG reveals the truth to him. YEE steals the CD-Rom for WING eventually. WING destroys the CD-Rom and reveals to YEE that he is not his brother. LONG rushes back to the office but he discovers that the CD-Rom is missing. YEE arrives to return the CD-Rom and he says that the one he gave to WING is a fake one. CHING goes to WING’s home to start a quarrel with him. She even uses a letter opener to threaten him and WING asks his worker to call the police……
Ep. 25: Episode 25 (2008-04-18)

CHING is arrested but she claims that she is innocent. WING’s worker claims that CHING had threatened WING with a letter opener and CHING becomes the main suspect. LONG tries to touch WING’s dead body but no hint comes to him. LONG and YEE carry out investigation and learn that WING had accidentally killed KWONG’s dog when driving a car. They also discover that the courier has just delivered an earphone to KWONG. KWONG told the police that he was listening to music during the murder and this is contradictory to the evidence they’ve found. The real murderer is arrested. Everybody celebrate with CHING for her return but LONG is missing. FERGUSO receives a resignation letter from LONG. He does not approve the resignation so he asks LONG to take a break instead. LONG disappears for half a year. TSUN always visits CHING and sends her presents. CHING discovers that the presents are from LONG and she tries very hard to look for him……
