Synopsis

After being rejected from every medical residency program on his list, Dr. David Tracy scrambles to perform 1750 hours of clinical therapy out of his garage to become a licensed therapist before his $500,000 activate and destroy his life.

A recent medical school graduate finds himself out of work and in debt. To ease the financial burden of his student loans, he decides to go into therapy, and works out of his parent's garage and with the patients he recruits from Craigslist.

After misunderstanding a therapy exercise regarding personal letters which are meant to be kept private, David compromises his relationship with two patients, and then has to enlist Doug to help him track down a letter he sent his ex.

After an unfulfilling one-night stand, David grapples with the loss of his ex and the loss of potential with someone new. A first-time patient finds something unusual in his Uncle’s attic. David’s family starts to feel the strain of his debt.
