Synopsis

Love Bond is a warm family show which follows two families, the Gei and the Lam, who are neighbors in the same building. This series also marked the fifth collaboration between Michael Tao and Kenix Kwok following the first three installments of the Detective Investigation Files Series and 2004's Shine On You.

Ep. 1: Episode 1 (2005-02-28)

After separated with his girlfriend CHEUNG PIK FUN, chef LAM YAT KONG returns to Hong Kong from abroad and decides to set up his own restaurant. However, his plan cannot be actualized due to unexpected circumstances. KONG’s neighbor KEI TIN MAN is a supervisor in a security company. After his wife’s death, MAN has taken up the role of looking after his three children. MAN always spoils his youngest son CHUNG MING and his eldest daughter HOI SUM and second daughter MEI LAI are dissatisfied about it. SIT SHUI works as a renovation worker, hawker, and operates parallel imports store at the same time. One evening, LAI who works in the Customs misconceives SHUI as a seller of pirated goods. Although it is proved to be a mistake, both of them have built up a bad impression of each other. KONG discovers that his second brother YEE YEUNG has borrowed a huge sum of money from the Lending Company……

Since CHU TANG SUET KWAN became the President of Incorporated Owners for their mansion, she has become very arrogant and always criticizes others. With the help of KONG, YEUNG’s flower decoration company has overcome its financial difficulties. YEUNG’s girlfriend CHIN MAN LAY works as an accountant in their company. She worries that KONG will take a share of the company so she puts him on her guard. FUN’s flat has been rented to KEI’s family since she emigrated to other country. SUM decides to quit her job and starts a coffee shop with her boyfriend MA WING TIN. In order to please her boyfriend, SUM forces herself to like coffee even though she is allergic to it. After confirming the shop rental, SUM sends her resignation to her boss CHO WAI and WAI is upset about this. TIN suggests a separation with SUM for he thinks that their personality doesn’t match. SUM is devastated……
Ep. 3: Episode 3 (2005-03-02)

SHUI gets to know his neighbors KONG and TIN when renovating KWAN’s home. KONG finds SHUI a very devoted worker and forms a good impression on him. After realizing that TIN and SUM have separated, MAN runs to TIN to question him, where he meets SUM unexpectedly. SUM discovers that TIN is dating with ELAINE WAN right after leaving her and becomes very depressed. She hopes KONG could take over her coffee shop but KONG has used up all his savings to help YEUNG. SUM realizes that KONG also has a regretful relationship in the past. They help each other to overcome obstacles and become good friends. KONG starts working as a salesman in YEUNG’s flower decoration company and sells silk flower from place to place. SUM gets an idea of operating an herbal teahouse. After thorough research, she finds that this is a business with great potential. After comparing the quotation of several service providers, SUM has selected SHUI to renovate her shop……
Ep. 4: Episode 4 (2005-03-03)

SUM is very skeptical on SHUI. She suspects that he is trying to do shoddy work and use inferior materials. SHUI thinks that SUM is a very mean person and the two of them have a lot of conflicts. SUM and LAI are angry with MAN for certain reason and they don’t talk to him for many days. KONG persuades them to stop the cold war and apologize. SUM discovers that MAN has secretly paid the shop’s renovation fees for her and she feels very grateful. The two sisters buy MAN’s favorite pot plants as a gift of apology to him. KONG has been keeping HO’s beloved giant robot all the time even though his brothers had damaged it in the younger days. KONG has always tried to look for an identical giant robot so that he could give it to HO when they see each other again. ELAINE insults SUM on the street. SHUI witnesses the situation and helps SUM to scold back. SUM helps WU to find the lost giant robot and KONG is very grateful about it……
Ep. 5: Episode 5 (2005-03-04)

MING does not like to study and always visits game center. LAI discovers this and reports to MAN. MAN stands by MING’s side and LAI is very upset. KONG treats the clients whole-heartedly and gets many new orders. SUM makes use of SHUI to buy discounted teapots and cups from HOI. SHUI thinks that SUM is really a stingy person and calls her an iron cock. Since the death of YAN’s parents, SHUI treats YAN as his brother and works with him all the time. YAN helps SHUI to carry out the renovation work at SUM’s teahouse. SHUI recommends YAN for a waiter position in SUM’s teahouse. SUM finds YAN a hardworking guy and agrees to hire him. SHUI sees his father’s oil painting in KONG’s home and realizes that KONG is his long-lost big brother. SHUI believes that he was deserted by his parents and has developed hatred for KONG. As a result, he hesitates if he should reunite with KONG……
Ep. 6: Episode 6 (2005-03-07)

Base on his words and deeds, KONG confirms that SHUI is his lost brother. KONG wants to reunite with SHUI but SHUI denies it. He shows his ID card to KONG to prove that his surname is SIT instead of LAM. KONG inquires about SHUI’s details from MAN and finds that SHUI’s parents have passed away. After discovering the relationship between KONG and SHUI, SUM voluntarily helps SHUI to untangle his knot. SUM deliberately mentions the location of KONG’s parents’ urns to SHUI and SHUI secretly visits the urns in the cemetery. KONG witnesses SHUI’s visit and confirms that he is the lost brother. SHUI eventually admit that his is HO but refuse to live with KONG. SUM’s herbal teahouse is finally opened. YEUNG sponsors all silk flower decoration and SUM put YEUNG’s name card at her teahouse in return. KONG persuades SHUI to go home and have dinner with the whole family on their deceased father’s birthday……
Ep. 7: Episode 7 (2005-03-08)

YEUNG and HOI apologize to KONG for misunderstanding SHUI. KONG is very angry and do not accept their apologies. CHU LIK KEI is a reporter for a magazine. He was a former colleague of SUM and the two are good friends. KEI promotes SUM’s herbal teahouse in his magazine without informing WAI. WAI criticizes SUM’s herbal teahouse from head to toe and SUM starts a quarrel with her. SHUI helps SUM to scold WAI and WAI leaves the teahouse cheerlessly. SUM helps to sow SHUI’s clothes and SHUI develops special feelings on her. SHUI gets caught in a court case and KONG helps him to settle the problem. With KONG’s constant persuasion, SHUI finally agrees to live with KONG and the family. Since YEUNG and HOI had conflicts with SHUI before, the three brothers always fight with each other. SUM’s herbal teahouse doesn’t earn much and she is distressed. MAN brings friends to SUM’s herbal teahouse in order to help her……
Ep. 8: Episode 8 (2005-03-09)

KONG cooks for SUM when she is sick. SUM is delighted. Security guard Uncle KAI mistakes SHUI as the one who broke the big vast in the building concourse. KWAN requests SHUI to compensate and scold Uncle KAI for his carelessness. YAN stays in SHUI’s home and sleeps on the corridor. WU wakes up in the night and is accidentally stumbled by YAN. WU cries aloud and the whole family is awaken by her. YEUNG blames SHUI for bringing strangers to stay at night. KONG is tormented with all these family conflicts and SUM consoles him. SUM allows YAN to sleep at her herbal teahouse and SHUI is very grateful for her generosity. With the help of SUM, KONG’s family disputes are overcome and all members dine happily at home. In order to thank SUM, KONG invites her to watch a drama performance together. On the way, SUM learns that MAN is hurt and has been sent to the hospital. KONG accompanies SUM to the hospital, where he meets FUN again……
Ep. 9: Episode 9 (2005-03-10)

FUN asks KONG to pretend that they are still lovers in front of KUEN and KONG agrees. KONG stays with FUN on his day offs. In the evening, KONG continues his work at the rooftop. SUM talks to him and realizes that FUN is staying in Hong Kong. MAN’s supervisor asks him to retire but he is not willing to. KUEN is going to have a dangerous operation and FUN worries a lot. KUEN’s operation is successful and KONG cooks delicious food for her to make her happy. KONG brings FUN to buy herbal tea for KUEN and SUM realizes that KONG still has affections towards FUN. After serious considerations, SUM decides to give up chasing KONG. SHUI secretly sends flowers to SUM and SUM mistakes it as LAI’s present. LAI denies. Some gangsters attack SHUI and LAI helps to fight them away. KUEN realizes that KONG and FUN has separated but she knows that FUN still loves KONG. KUEN therefore encourages FUN to reunite with KONG……
Ep. 10: Episode 10 (2005-03-11)

WU regards FUN as her sister-in-law since the younger days and wishes that KONG would reunite with her. KONG and FUN go to the rooftop to gaze stars after dinner and visit places where they used to go when dating with each other. The two of them enjoy each other’s company very much. After getting along for quite some time, LAI and SHUI become good friends. LAI helps SHUI to chase SUM. FUN finds that KONG has changed a lot since he quit his job as a chef. He is now much more mature and open-minded. SHUI expresses his love to SUM but SUM rejects him and SHUI feels sad. MAN feels resentment on his supervisor for forcing him to retire. He therefore reports to the company that his supervisor has practiced jobbery. KONG declares his love to FUN while gazing the stars with her at night and FUN hesitates. KONG learns that FUN is going to leave and rushes to the airport to stop her……
Ep. 11: Episode 11 (2005-03-14)

KONG is very sad for FUN’s departure but he respects her decision. MAN is asked to retire and his boss has assigned someone to replace his position. MAN’s daughters suggest him to enjoy life and spend time in the community center. After retirement, MAN spends much time to take care of the pot plants. SHUI has not given up on SUM. He always goes to find YAN in order to see SUM. LAY hurts herself while using the secondhand furniture purchased by SHUI and has to take sick leave. In order to amend his fault, SHUI voluntarily works in her flower decoration company. WU quits school in order to do the job she likes. KONG is very angry because the dream of his deceased father cannot be fulfilled. MAN complains that KWAN’s poor management of the mansion has led to various problems in the building. KWAN ignores him and MAN is very upset. SUM is working late at her herbal teahouse when the typhoon is on……
Ep. 12: Episode 12 (2005-03-15)

The typhoon has broken the window and door of SUM’s herbal teahouse. SHUI has hurt himself when trying to protect SUM. SUM is very grateful and develops good feelings on him. With the encouragement of LAI, SUM expresses her affections towards SHUI and the two of them finally become lovers. After the typhoon, SUM is sad to find that her teahouse needs renovation. In order to let SHUI continues his voluntary works in the flower decoration company, LAY pretends to be ill even though she has recovered. WU is being photographed in sexy costumes on the street for a modeling company. KONG sees this and forces her to leave. WU is very upset and quarrels with him. KONG tries to think in WU’s point of view. He finally decides to let WU go and actualize her dream. SUM and LAI notice that MAN is not well adapted to his retired life. They worry that he has depression but diagnosis shows that their worries are not true……
Ep. 13: Episode 13 (2005-03-16)

SHUI works as a salesman in the flower decoration company and the three brothers strive together to boost up their sales figures. SHUI suggests printing new promotional leaflets but LAY refuses to spend money on this. YEUNG appreciates SHUI’s idea and decides to print the new leaflets. LAY is very picky on SHUI and SHUI feels frustrated. The two of them always have conflicts. KEI accompanies MAN to visit places during his spare time and MAN feels happier. Tenants complain that KWAN’s poor management of the mansion has resulted in serious rat problem and MAN agrees totally. KEI confesses his love to LAI. LAI casually accepts him out of loneliness and boredom. KONG visits WU while she is doing modeling job for WAI’s magazine. WAI thanks KONG once again for helping her on the street. WU and SHUI keep trying to introduce girl friends to KONG and KONG understands their good intentions.
Ep. 14: Episode 14 (2005-03-17)

WAI is interested in KONG and tries to approach him in every means. WAI suggests KONG to write articles for their magazine and KONG says that he needs to consider. MAN is not satisfied with KWAN’s management and decides to run for the new President of the Incorporated Owners. SUM’s herbal teahouse is reopened and YAN distributes promotional leaflets on the street. KONG suggests promoting SUM’s herbal teahouse in his column and WAI unwillingly agrees. LAY cannot accompany YEUNG for an overseas business trip and SHUI takes her place. MAN is elected as the new President and his children celebrate with him happily. WAI uses tricks to invite KONG to her home. SUM is witty and helps him to escape from the trap. KONG accidentally learns that SUM had a crush for him in the past and he is shocked. WAI spreads rumors of SUM’s herbal teahouse in her magazine and SUM is speechless……
Ep. 15: Episode 15 (2005-03-18)

KONG falls in love with SUM unconsciously but hides away his feelings because of SHUI. SUM renews her tea-making formula and accepts KONG’s idea of making herbal teacakes as a gimmick. KWAN is dissatisfied with MAN for he has taken away her former position as the President so she tries to slander him in every way. MAN doesn’t want to be outdone so he keeps fighting back fiercely. The two neighbors become enemies. KEI fears that KWAN will disapprove his relationship with LAI so he dates with her secretly and carefully, which annoys LAI a lot. MING lives an aimless life. He continues his studies just to hide away from social responsibility. SUM and LAI can no longer tolerate his laziness and force him to find a job. SHUI buys hair clip to SUM as a gift. SUM feels awkward that this hair clip resembles his dead mother’s hair clip so much. SHUI finds that SUM is becoming apathetic but cannot figure out the reason……
Ep. 16: Episode 16 (2005-03-21)

SUM realizes that her character doesn’t match well with SHUI and SHUI loves her because she resembles his dead mother so much. Therefore, SUM proposes to separate with SHUI. KONG works out the recipe for making herbal teacakes and passes it to Chef GA for future use at the herbal teahouse. SHUI tries to save the relationship with SUM but is unsuccessful and the two separates peacefully. SUM asks MING to learn cake making from Chef GA and MING is excited to start his first job. MING resigns after working for half a day and complains to MAN that the work is really hard. This worries MAN a lot. During the Incorporated Owners Meeting, KWAN defames MAN for accepting benefits and MAN denies. While they fight with each other, MAN suddenly faints. SUM prepares herbal tea for KONG’s clients and KONG is touched. As time goes by, the two’s relationship are growing insensibly.
Ep. 17: Episode 17 (2005-03-22)

KEI tells KWAN that he is dating with LAI. KWAN is very angry and objects their relationship. KWAN blames LAI for seducing her son. LAI denies and argues with her. MAN does not blame LAI for dating with KEI but is unhappy for she didn’t tell the truth. KWAN orders KEI to separate with LAI and KEI feels helpless. SHUI suggests opening a new line of flower decoration business at factory buildings. Both YEUNG and LAY object the idea while KONG supports it. YEUNG eventually agrees to give it a try. KONG worries that SHUI will be unhappy if he dates SUM so he keeps hiding away his feelings. SUM finds that KONG is trying to keep a distance from her and she is puzzled. KONG successfully convinced Mr HO, the manager of a factory building, to order flower decoration service from them. Mr HO gives them a lot of restrictions and asks them to finish all decoration overnight. KONG accepts the deal……
Ep. 18: Episode 18 (2005-03-23)

KONG hurts himself accidentally during work and the other members continue the job. YEUNG blames SHUI for going beyond his depth. He accuses SHUI for taking orders without sufficient resources, which leads to the accident of KONG. SHUI disagrees and starts a quarrel with him. KWAN and LAI always have conflicts with each other. KEI tries to mediate but fails. Unable to withstand the huge pressure, KEI eventually propose separation with LAI. LAI hits him angrily when she leaves. MAN asks MING to work in the herbal teahouse. Not wanting to be monitored, MING refuses to take the job. KONG is sad because SHUI and YEUNG misunderstand each other at work. He exhorts them to make peace. MING finds a new job. His sisters buy delicious food for him as a celebration. Unfortunately, they discover that MING quits his job again because the job is too hard. His sisters scold him and blame MAN for spoiling him into a lazy man……
Ep. 19: Episode 19 (2005-03-24)

SUM realizes that she loves KONG but KONG hides away from her since he is very concerned about SHUI’s feelings. SUM is tormented. SHUI encourages KONG to declare his love to SUM and the two of them finally become lovers. MING feels upset for being forced to work in the herbal teahouse. He deliberately burns himself during work so that MAN will ask him to resign. However, MAN only asks him to take good care of himself and he feels speechless. ELAINE is narrow gauge and she opens a coffee shop right opposite to SUM’s herbal teahouse in order to fight with her. KWAN finds that LAI and SHUI are dating with each other and criticizes them for being immoral. LAI and SHUI fight back to make a fool of her. ELAINE boils coffee all day long and the smell of coffee affects the business of other shops nearby. SUM sues to the property owner and ELAINE is asked to modify her ventilation system. FUN returns and SUM is worried.
Ep. 20: Episode 20 (2005-03-25)

FUN returns to continue the unfinished affinity with KONG and gives him her beloved chocolates as a present. KONG tries to explain the whole story of FUN’s return to SUM and passes the chocolates to SUM as a gift. HOI is very shocked for being dismissed from his job unreasonably. He finds that the amount of indemnification is insufficient. Together with his elder brothers, he goes to argue with the manager. YEUNG asks HOI to work in his flower decoration company and HOI is very happy. MAN is very concerned about FUN’s return and reminds SUM to pay special attention to this. KONG, FUN and KUEN go to Lantau Island to worship the Buddha. Since KUEN suddenly feels unwell, the three of them need to stay on Lantau Island overnight. LAI worries that FUN will take this chance to seduce KONG so she tails after them with SHUI. LAI sprains her angle on the way and SHUI carries her on the back. He tumbles over and kisses her accidentally……
Ep. 21: Episode 21 (2005-03-28)

SUM is very shocked to see the baby boy and leaves somberly. FUN claims that she only discovered that she was pregnant after she has left KONG. KONG is stunned by the fact that he has become a father. SUM waits for KONG’s final decision but it eventually disappoints her. SUM separates with KONG despairingly. KUEN suggests KONG and FUN to get marry on her birthday. SUM devotes all her time to work and pretends that she’s doing fine. SHUI and LAI develop good feelings towards each other after staying together on Lantau Island for one night. ELAINE asks YAN to work for her with good pay but YAN refuses. MING is mean to YAN in every way. YAN does not haggle over with him and forbears him all the time. LAI and SHUI meet in HEI’s place by mere coincidence and HEI teases them for having tacit understanding. Due to thunderstorm, LAI and SHUI decide to spend a night in HEI’s home……
Ep. 22: Episode 22 (2005-03-29)

Even though KONG is going to get married with FUN soon, he still thinks of SUM secretly. SHUI carelessly enrages LAI and LAI is very angry. LAI tries to cover up her relationship with SHUI but SUM discovers it by chance. SUM does not mind and asks LAI to cherish the relationship. SUM meets KONG and FUN at the common area of their mansion and she pretends to be fine even though she is actually heart-broken. MAN would like to help SUM by taking the hair of FUN’s baby for a parental forensic report. He wants to prove that the baby doesn’t belong to KONG so that SUM could reunite with him. ELAINE sues HOI for vandalism and HOI begs her to give him a second chance. ELAINE requests SUM to apologize to her so that she will consider forgiving HOI and SUM agrees. ELAINE knows that SUM is allergic to coffee so she asks SUM to drink her coffee. After taking many cups of coffee, SUM gets a serious stomachache……
Ep. 23: Episode 23 (2005-03-30)

SUM has a serious stomachache after drinking the coffee and is sent to hospital for treatments. KONG is very concerned about SUM but LAI refuses to tell him the hospital address. KONG tries every hospital and finally finds SUM. SUM confesses that she does not want to see KONG anymore and KONG is depressed. In order to hide away from SUM, KONG decides to migrate to another country with FUN and her baby. While preparing for the wedding, FUN finds that KONG only looks happy when he stays with the baby but not her. She realizes that KONG still loves SUM and decides to step out. She lies to KONG by telling him that the baby is not his child and she has cheated him because she wants to get him back. FUN meets SUM when she departs at the airport. She tells the whole truth to SUM and asks her to give KONG a second chance. SUM hesitates.
Ep. 24: Episode 24 (2005-03-31)

KONG believes that he could get SUM back. LAI loves to eat snacks and SHUI teases her for getting fat. SUM returns from her vacation and KONG picks her up at the airport. The two lovers eventually reunite. All family members are delighted when KONG announces his marriage with SUM. MAN spreads the news of SUM’s wedding to all tenants of the mansion and KWAN thinks that MAN is exaggerating the whole thing. MAN receives the parental forensic report of FUN’s baby. He realizes that the baby really belongs to KONG and FUN has been kind to SUM. LAI is pregnant and SHUI decides marry her. KONG and SHUI would like to get marry on the same day. YEUNG proposes marriage to LAY but LAY rejects him for she wants to wait until the business is smooth. LAI is transferred to an administration post after her pregnancy. Even though she is not willing to do so, she has accepted the offer for the sake of her baby’s safety……
Ep. 25: Episode 25 (2005-04-01)

SHUI worries about their future living expenses after marriage and frowns all the time. LAI thinks that SHUI doesn’t want to get married and they quarrel with each other. KONG prepares some nutritious dishes for pregnant women and asks SHUI to apologize to LAI with the dishes. LAI is touched by KONG’s kindheartedness and forgives SHUI. While KONG is planning to open a restaurant with GA, he finds that YEUNG needs money for expanding his business. KONG therefore gives up his plan and lends money to YEUNG. KEI dates with his colleague TINA. KWAN praises TINA for her thoughtfulness at first but criticizes her for being too open after a period of time. KEI doesn’t know what to do. SHUI watches property advertisements and MAN thinks that he doesn’t want to live with him. Later, MAN realizes that SHUI wants to have his own property where his family could settle down……
Ep. 26: Episode 26 (2005-04-04)

SHUI feels that YEUNG doesn’t have trust on him so he decides to resign. KONG wants to stop him but fails. KONG loves kids and always buys baby stuffs for LAI. SUM feels unwell and vomits. KONG is very excited for he believes that SUM is pregnant. He is disappointed to find out that this is only a mistake. SHUI finds a new job as an insurance broker and LAI supports his move. YAN studies to increase his competitiveness. SHUI is influenced by him and decides to strive for a progress. MAN sets up a fengshui formation at home that increases the chance of pregnancy. He asks all family members to go out so that KONG and SUM could share romantic moments with each other. WU takes up the role of a matchmaker for KEI and TINA. In order to make KWAN accepts TINA, WU comes up with a plan in her mind. TIN has a great failure in his investment and loses all his savings with ELAINE, including the rental for their coffee shop. ELAINE is enraged……
Ep. 27: Episode 27 (2005-04-05)

WU pretends to be dating with KEI so that KWAN would compare her with TINA. WU tries to be rude and impolite to KWAN all the time and KWAN always quarrels with her. In order to create a healthy environment for the baby, LAI asks all family members to quit their bad habits. SUM’s appetite changes a lot after pregnancy and wants to eat hot pot in the early morning. KONG loves her a lot and satisfies her need all the time. KWAN has conflicts with a foreigner on the street. TINA passes by and helps her. KWAN appreciates it very much and starts to like TINA. KEI therefore dates with TINA happily. SUM and LAI care about their babies a lot and plan to purchase expensive baby teaching kits. Since SUM and LAI get pregnant, MAN devotes himself whole-heartedly in taking care of them and MING feels that he is being ignored. MING starts a quarrel with someone on the street. MAN comes to mediate and is hurt……
Ep. 28: Episode 28 (2005-04-06)

YAN finds that WU is a very kind-hearted and accommodating girl. He falls in love with her secretly. When YAN reviews his love to WU, he is overjoyed to find that WU accepts him. KONG scolds HOI for being half-hearted at work, which causes complaint from Mr HO. HOI is sorry. Mr HO complains about HOI when SHUI presents insurance packages to him. SHUI reminds HOI to change his working attitude and HOI misconceives that SHUI has blackened his name in front of Mr HO. Discord between the brothers arises again. MING rectifies his bad habits and works hard in the herbal teahouse. He learns cake making in order to help baking the herbal teacakes and MAN is overjoyed to see his change. ELAINE closes her coffee shop and gives all her tea sets to SUM. She feels sorry for what she has done before and they are reconciled. Mr HO asks SHUI to start a silk flower business with him……
Ep. 29: Episode 29 (2005-04-07)

SHUI is busy with the preparation work for his new business and YAN takes holidays to help him. SHUI’s company is opened and he meets HOI unexpectedly while presenting his products to a potential client Mr YUEN. Mr YUEN has chosen SHUI’s proposal but SHUI decides to give up this opportunity so as to avoid further conflicts with his brothers. SHUI recommends YEUNG’s flower decoration company to Mr YUEN and YEUNG eventually gets the contract. LAY offends Mr YUEN’s wife by mistake and the contract is lost. Not wanting to be scolded, LAY shirks the responsibility to SHUI and claims that SHUI is the person who spoils the whole thing. YEUNG and HOI are enraged. HOI runs to SHUI for a fight and hurts YAN accidentally. HOI is frightened to find that YAN has fainted. HOI therefore runs away. SHUI is very angry to find that HOI has caused the injury and sues him to court……
Ep. 30: Episode 30 (2005-04-08)

YAN passes his critical stage and SHUI is relieved. SHUI knows that HOI is determined to mend his ways. Since YAN does not want to prosecute HOI, SHUI decides to cancel the lawsuit and HOI is very grateful. KONG is overjoyed to find that all brothers have dispelled their misunderstanding and reunite again. After discussion with KONG, YEUNG and SHUI decide to merge their companies and strive for better business opportunities together. After separation with LAY, YEUNG is somber all the time. His brothers thus help them to reunite again. YEUNG and SHUI's business is growing prosperously. KONG also actualizes his dream of setting up his own restaurant. FUN returns to Hong Kong and asks KONG and SUM to meet with her. MAN is very nervous and tells SUM that FUN's child belongs to KONG. SUM hesitates if she should tell KONG the truth.
