Synopsis
The adventures of the eponymous Lovejoy, a likeable but roguish antiques dealer based in East Anglia. Within the trade, he has a reputation as a “divvie”, a person with an almost supernatural powers for recognising exceptional items as well as distinguishing genuine antique from clever fakes or forgeries.

On January 28 1991, during the BBC transmission of Season 2 Ian McShane made a special guest appearance on the live daytime chat show Scene Today. Here he is, interviewed by Judi Spiers, talking about Lovejoy, American television and even one of his earliest roles!

Ep. 8: BBC Pebble Mill Cast Interviews
As Season 3 began airing in the UK in January 1992, the cast members made appearances on the daytime chat show Pebble Mill at the BBC studio in Birmingham. On January 24 Dudley Sutton and Chris Jury met host Alan Titchmarsh and two weeks later Ian McShane appeared with wife Gwen Humble to be interviewed once again by Judi Spiers.
