Synopsis
Rabbit Fall is a Canadian television supernatural drama series, which airs on Space, APTN and Saskatchewan Communications Network. The series stars Andrea Menard as Tara Wheaton, a police officer of Métis descent who takes a job in Rabbit Fall, a remote town in northern Saskatchewan with a history of unexplained events. Wheaton is reluctant to accept the community's supernatural explanations for the events, but finds that the events challenge her sense of rationality. The show's cast also includes Kevin Jubinville, Peter Stebbings, Peter Kelly Gaudreault, Tinsel Korey, Patrick Bird and Booth Savage.

Ep. 1: Welcome to Rabbit Fall
A professional indiscretion lands Constable Tara Wheaton in the remote northern town of Rabbit Fall, where she’s immediately plunged into the cases of a missing girl and a house party that ends in murder. Tara has no leads on the missing girl and the murder case seems to be going nowhere when the only witness is a child too afraid to speak. The investigation leads Tara into the forest where she makes a disturbing discovery–one that links both cases and ties Tara directly to them.

Ep. 2: Dog Island
Two American brothers go missing on a fishing trip, leaving behind a trashed cottage, blood evidence and traces of cocaine. All roads lead to Harley, the dangerously sexy cottage owner who called in the cops. Did Tara’s key suspect trash his own place? Something keeps drawing Harley back to the crime scene and Tara is determined to find out what he knows. When one brother turns up dead and an empty boat floats to shore, Tara follows her hunch that the brothers’ connection to Harley and the townspeople is more than it seems. Tara learns of the mysterious Dog Island, where stray dogs were once abandoned to cannibalize each other.

Ep. 3: The Great Rabbit
When Harley’s girlfriend Gabriel is sexually assaulted and found dead in a bear trap, suspicion immediately falls on Johnny Redden, the reclusive trapper who found her. Redden insists he was led to the body by a dream interpreted by the town medicine man. But his story doesn’t add up and the evidence shows Redden was the last person to see Gabriel alive. Deep down, Tara is not convinced this quiet man could commit the heinous act of murder. Little does she know her partner Bob has tampered with the truth. Reason gives way to passion as Tara begins a dangerous affair with Harley.

Ep. 4: A Messenger, A Message
A burglar is terrorizing Rabbit Fall and the crime turns personal when Tara wakes in the middle of the night to discover a dark figure in her room. Why would the burglar invade her home and walk off with nothing but her beloved shawl? Tara fears she’s losing her grip on what is real and imagined when the dark figure keeps appearing throughout the investigation. She finds comfort in Harley, who offers her the gift of a home security system. But even this can’t allay her fears when she discovers the town burglar is simply a teenage girl, not the stranger in her bedroom.

Ep. 5: The Weetigo
Old wounds are stirred when a missing American tourist washes up on the notorious Dog Island. His body is half eaten and the people of Rabbit Fall are convinced the Weetigo–a creature who takes over humans’ souls and turns them into cannibals–is back. The discovery coincides with the return of John Spence, a child killer who cannibalized his victim in one of Rabbit Fall’s most haunting crimes. Fear morphs into frenzy and a group of vigilantes sets out to destroy the alleged Weetigo before he strikes again. The case spirals out of control when Tara brings Spence into protective custody.

Ep. 6: Lost and Found
Tara works the case of a young woman whose cause of death defies logic - the autopsy reveals her heart has been shredded yet there’s no visible trauma to her body. The case grows even more disturbing when Tara discovers photos that cast suspicion on her partner Bob. Forensics links the latest victim to the murder of Gabriel and Tara realizes she has an innocent man, Johnny Redden locked up and a murderer running free. The case explodes in gunfire and tragedy. Tara traces her birth mother to the town of Rabbit Fall.
