The Pavilion (2026)
Synopsis
**The Pavilion** is a mockumentary comedy about Emilio, who takes over his father’s riverside ranch and event venue, High View at the Brazos River, and tries to prove he can run it successfully. Surrounded by a team of incompetent employees and constantly checked by his father’s assistant Greg, Emilio struggles to keep the business alive while dealing with a divorce and trying to bring in new customers. Things get even more chaotic with a sarcastic talking dog only he can hear, adding to the madness as Emilio tries to hold everything together.

Ep. 1: Pilot
Emilio meets with a potential client at The Pavilion and tries to make a strong first impression to land his first booking and prove he can run his father’s business. After the meeting, he waits anxiously for the call back, hoping he got the job done. As he waits, we’re introduced to the chaotic staff—Willie, Maggie, Robert, and Randy—whose day-to-day behavior shows why running the place is so difficult. We also meet Megafone, Emilio’s sarcastic talking dog only he can hear, constantly commenting on how badly things are going. As everything around him starts to fall apart, Emilio is left hoping the one call that matters goes his way.

Ep. 2: The Trail
Randy builds a new trail to impress Emilio and show him a guided hike experience for future guests at The Pavilion. Maggie immediately struggles, forgetting the camera and losing her cabin keys, while Willie warns everyone about snakes on the trail that no one takes seriously. As Emilio tries to oversee everything, the simple hike turns into a chaotic disaster, showing once again that nothing at The Pavilion ever goes as planned.

Ep. 3: The Inspection
Emilio gives everyone the day off at The Pavilion, thinking it will be an easy break from the chaos. That plan immediately falls apart when Randy’s brother Bruno shows up unexpectedly at work, and Emilio learns his father is on the way to inspect the business. With no staff around to help, Emilio panics as everything starts spiraling out of control. To make things worse, Greg arrives and makes it clear how serious Emilio’s father is about The Pavilion, warning him that he could lose it all if things don’t turn around fast.

Ep. 4: The Call
Emilio shows Willie new ideas he’s designed for the ranch, including setups for floating in the river, hoping to improve the guest experience at The Pavilion. Meanwhile, Megafone is frustrated with the intense heat, constantly complaining about how unbearable everything is. Bruno shows up at work just to slack off while Robert ends up doing most of the work as usual. As chaos unfolds across the property, Emilio keeps checking his phone, waiting and hoping for a call about a new booking that could finally turn things around.

Emilio’s big day arrives as his first booked quinceañera takes place at The Pavilion, his chance to finally prove to his father that he can run the business. But what should be a success quickly starts to unravel as problems pile up during the event. Megafone keeps Emilio updated on the chaos happening with Maggie, Randy, and Willie, while Greg arrives to make sure Emilio doesn’t mess anything up in front of guests. As Emilio tries to hold the event together, pressure builds from every direction. Meanwhile, Megafone has a bizarre dream about playing basketball that gets abruptly crushed, adding to the absurd tone of the day. As everything teeters on the edge, Emilio fights to keep the event from falling apart and secure his place at The Pavilion.
