Synopsis
Lin Weiling was once a pampered heiress, but overnight she lost everything. Her family went bankrupt, her father passed away, and she was forced to live with a wealthy family, transforming from an enviable young lady into a downtrodden one living at the mercy of others.Meanwhile, Yao Yao is a powerful heiress at the pinnacle of wealth and fame. Calm, proud, and unapproachable, she becomes Lin Weiling's protector. Everyone in their social circle assumes Yao Yao is only protecting the vulnerable Weiling out of pure "friendship".However, only Yao Yao knows the truth: she is becoming increasingly obsessed with Lin Weiling's emotions and utterly unable to accept anyone else getting close to her. The dynamic quickly shifts from quiet favoritism to a dangerous loss of control, transforming her urge to protect into an intense desire for possession.
