Synopsis
The Gemma Factor is a BBC Three sitcom starring Anna Gilthorpe, Claire King and Gwyneth Powell. The series is similar to many current programmes of this sort, by which it is simulcast on BBC Three and BBC HD. The series premiered on Tuesday 9 March 2010, and has six episodes.

Ep. 1: Episode 1
Gemma Collinge wants to be famous and hounded by the world's press by the time she turns 21. Six weeks to go and her dream inches closer when Halifax agent Kenny Grantham invites her in for a chat. Personal stylist Jeff goes in to overdrive whilst Nell questions the validity of her friend's vacuous pursuit for megastardom. But nothing can stand in Gemma's way; not her job, her protesting Nana or her lack of talent - this is it! Or so Gemma thinks... until she discovers one very big, very serious problem.

Ep. 2: Episode 2
When Nell tells Gemma that her dodgy agent Kenny is just out of prison, Gemma can't summon the courage to sack him. Jeff steps in to help and confronts Kenny, but thanks to Jeff's vanity Gemma's dreams are far from over - and Kenny persuades them that a showreel is mandatory. Meanwhile Nana and George take on the local youth problem and Nell finally talks to urban warrior Dom.

Gemma's bid for international stardom takes a giant leap forward when Kenny asks her and Jeff to promote Disco Figs sweets during Nell's charity run. Gemma is delighted with her costume but Jeff is really upset as he has a rubbish outfit and a crazy stalker. Neither of them realise the Disco Figs contain hallucinogenic properties with terrible side effects.

On the make agent Kenny provides afternoon entertainment for pensioners at the Pack Horse Pub - Gemma lands the lead role, Janet takes stage fright and Jeff inadvertently steals the show. Meanwhile Nell and Dom unite to save the world and Nana deals with Betty's dirty laundry.

Gemma turns 21 and demands that Kenny makes her famous immediately. Kenny's solution makes Gemma reconsider her ambitions and she returns to Ted's Tearooms to consider a future with Kieran. Undeterred, Kenny plots to make Gemma the biggest celebrity ever, while Nana has an epiphany which changes everything for everyone, especially the birthday girl.
