Howdy Doody is joined by Ranger Bill, Captain Scuttle Butt, Percival Parrot, Dilly Dally, and Princess Haida. The Captain sings, Blow The Man Down, and tells them a story about his adventures. Movie time features a film about a colt, which is narrated by Ranger Bill. Both Phineas T. Bluster and the Captain receive packages in the mail. The Howdy Doody gang wonder what Bluster's mysterious package might be (the plot is left unresolved to be continued in the next episode).
