Synopsis
Dreaming of filmmaking, a passionate high schooler pushes aside all obligations to create short films, inspiring a studious but passionless classmate. Their deep bond eventually turns romantic, but they are abruptly separated when he is forced to move overseas. Years later in their thirties, their lives have completely swapped: she is a disillusioned, struggling TV reporter, while he has become an award-winning director. When a sudden reunion brings them face-to-face, he resolves to help her rediscover her lost spark, but she still harbors deep resentment over his past disappearance.

Ep. 1: Su-bin’s Return
Woo Su-bin, a new director, wins an award at an international film festival. During his acceptance speech, he thanks his first love for giving him a dream. After the festival, he visits Korea to meet his first love, Joo Yi-jae, who wanted to become a director but works as a reporter. During a conversation, Su-bin suggest they make a film together. However, Yi-jae firmly rejects the offer, revealing deep scars he left on her.

Ep. 2: Their Past And Present
During their senior year of high school, Yi-jae is an aspiring amateur filmmaker. Su-bin also decides to become a director after helping Yi-jae and spending time with her. Although Yi-jae wins an award at a youth film festival, her family fails to show up. Only Su-bin is there to celebrate with her, and the two spend time together after the festival, promising to make movies together in the future. However, neither of their families supports their dreams. Many years later, Su-bin returns to Korea and reunites with Yi-jae, and the long-hidden secret behind their separation begins to unfold.

Ep. 3: A New Bond And A Broken Bond
Yi-jae travels to her hometown to meet and cast Su-bin. As they spend time together, they share a deep conversation about their past. However, when Su-bin reveals his hidden history, Yi-jae responds with sarcasm, finding him pathetic. Later, Yi-jae discovers that she was betrayed by her long-standing bond. Meanwhile, Yu-geon is struggling to achieve his own success. One day, he runs into Ha-na again on set. After a brief chat, Yu-geon opens her eyes to a whole new experience. Ha-na later visits Yu-geon’s house, where the two begin to form a new bond.

Ep. 4: The Contract
After mulling it over, Yi-jae finally makes a contract with Su-bin, and they move to Bunam to write the script for Gyeongseong Love Song. Working together, Yi-jae’s feelings towards him begin to grow despite herself. Meanwhile, Ha-na protects Yu-geon from Sang-yeon. Sa-rang accidentally finds a man she has dreamed of and makes advances.

Ep. 5: The Truth
After spending a night with Sa-rang, In-wook decides to appear on her show because he wants to keep the relationship with her. Yu-geon saves Ha-na from people putting her down, and they open up about their inner wounds and dreams. Meanwhile, Su-bin and Yi-jae’s relationship grows steadily as their work goes well. However, Su-bin learns from his father what Yi-jae went through because of him.

Ep. 6: The Pre-Production Of Gyeongseong Love Song
Su-bin tries to help Yi-jae in every way after learning about her accident. Therefore, when pre-production for Gyeongseong Love Song begins, Su-bin goes on location scouting and Yi-jae stays indoors for the script meeting. However, it makes Yi-jae feel like she is not approved by the crew because of Su-bin’s overprotection. She even overhears colleagues’ insults about her lack of experience. Hence, he decides to show Su-bin her willpower. Meanwhile, Yu-geon gets an unexpected opportunity after arguing with his father about his dream.

Ep. 7: Ha-na’s Decision
Su-bin and Yi-jae reunite to work together on a new project. Upon learning that Yu-geon is now working alongside Soo-hee, Su-bin can't hide a hint of disappointment, while Yi-jae reacts in a way no one expects. Meanwhile, Ha-na is hurt when Yu-geon begins to distance himself from her. Soon after, Ha-na makes a surprising declaration to her mother, Soo-hee.

Ep. 8: Chaos During Filming On Set
Filming for Su-bin and Yi-jae’s movie finally begins, but chaos erupts when Soo-hee suddenly shows up on set and causes a scene. The situation escalates to the point where replacing the male lead is even brought up. Meanwhile, Ha-na gives up her rebellion against Soo-hee and decides to renew her contract with her. On the other hand, someone breaks into Su-bin’s empty house late at night and causes a disturbance.

Ep. 9: A Connection That Goes Way Back
Su-bin gets extremely jealous when Seong-moo appears on set and shows how close he is to Yi-jae. The Gyeongseong Love Song crew decides to go on a retreat, and Seong-moo joins as well. From dodgeball to grilling meat, the competition between Su-bin and Seong-moo gets fierce. Meanwhile, Director Kang decides to leave CEO Ahn after getting badly burned.
