The traditional "Erlebnisreisen" series on WDR television will be continued at irregular intervals, featuring reports on local and distant destinations. The basic idea is that a reporter - representing the viewers - explores a region, visits sights, and meets people. The experiences and adventures gathered along the way are reflected in the travel reports.

Ep. 3: Sydney - Christmas time Down Under (2023-11-15)

Summer begins Down Under in December. And that means celebrating Christmas on the Pacific Ocean in temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. Sydney's famous Bondi Beach is packed on December 25th. Equipped with gifts, picnic bags, surfboards, and red stocking caps, the crowds head to the ocean. The Christmas brunch on the beach is a tradition.
Ep. 4: Australia - Around the continent with a camper (2023-11-16)

They fulfilled a lifelong dream: Sophie and Tobias traveled through Australia in a camper van on a work and travel visa. They traveled around the entire continent. A road trip along stunning coastlines, over dusty roads in the outback, and into megacities like Sydney. They quit their jobs and apartments and simply went for it. "Work and travel" in Australia.
Ep. 5: Brisbane - Boomtown on the Australian east coast (2023-11-16)

Successful emigration to Australia – that's the short version of Maren and Chris's story. They came to Australia from Germany around 20 years ago to study and finally found a new home in Brisbane: a boomtown, Australia's third-largest city, with around 300 days of sunshine a year and the host of the 2032 Olympics.
Ep. 6: Marseille - Sea and Mistral (2025-06-22)

Marseille – the metropolis in the south of France is a booming city. Young people from Paris and across Europe are drawn to the south of France. 29-year-old Aileen has moved to Marseille from Hamburg. She presents the hotspots and her personal favorites in France's second-largest city.

Brittany is a real longing destination for holidaymakers – especially from Germany.
