Synopsis
Evgenia Kolesnikova, a correspondent for a private newspaper, receives a prestigious journalistic award - the Silver Pen - for a series of revealing articles about fraud with Moscow real estate. One of the defendants in the real estate case, official Vitaly Martov, throws himself out of the window of his apartment. On the same day, police officers Nazarov and Artemyev find a notebook with a list of his future victims in the dead professional killer Borisenko. Evgenia Kolesnikova is on the list.

In an elite area of Moscow, an event takes place at night that is directly related to the revelations published in the newspaper "Nonsense" by the newspaper's special correspondent Evgenia Kolesnikova. A major official, Vitaly Mironovich Martov, throws himself out of the window of his apartment and dies. Pavel, the editor-in-chief of Nonsense, who has just congratulated Kolesnikova on being awarded the Silver Pen Prize, shows her information about Martov's suicide, which followed the high-profile revelations.
