Synopsis

Sixteen comedians form eight new comedy duos to take on dynamic stage sets and tackle unconquerable prompts! Through eight stages, the 200 audience members will vote for “the least funny duo.” Who will be chosen as the funniest duo and be crowned the best “Golden Duo” to win a cash prize of ten million yen in this grueling survival comedy show?!

Ep. 1: Eight New Duos vs Super Difficult Improv Sketch Prompts (2024-10-31)

It’s time for a new comedy competition launched by Prime Video. Comedians team up with different partners instead of their usual ones for a chance to win. The combinations bring a mix of surprises and natural choices. The first stage kicks off with the challenging prompt, “Give us a new take on ‘I wouldn’t want a doctor like this.’” The Golden Duos impress with their extraordinary improv sketches!
Ep. 2: Open the Door to the APA Hotels President (2024-10-31)

The 200 audience members choose “the least funniest” from the First Stage. Then comes an unusual Second Stage: “This is the moon. Please come up with your own prompt.” The Third Stage involves special guests: “Brief the celebrity in the green room on a new show named after them.” Surprise visits from Tsurutaro Kataoka, Naoko Ken, Ano, Tenshin Nasukawa, the APA Hotels President, and The Touch!
Ep. 3: Naniwa Danshi's Michieda Unleashes Hell with His Terrifying and Absurd Requests (2024-10-31)

Finally, the third duo is eliminated, which sends shockwaves through the crowd! Next, the dreaded Fourth Stage arrives, and the duos create new improv sketches in a classroom setting, with a security camera as the gimmick! The difficulty level rises further when special guest Shunsuke Michieda of Naniwa Danshi unleashes a storm of absurd requests. The Golden Duos' true strength is put to the test!
Ep. 4: Eiichiro Funakoshi at the Edge of a Cliff & Riho Yoshioka's Terrifying Request Hour (2024-10-31)

A fourth duo is voted out. The duos face off in the next set featuring Eiichiro Funakoshi as a detective chasing a culprit. Another duo is voted out. A surprise Redemption Stage is announced! The eliminated duos’ hope turns to dread as the set turns out to be unexpectedly hard. One duo returns, and in the next stage with guest Riho Yoshioka, four duos’ improv skills are put to the ultimate test.
Ep. 5: The Hardest Prompts by Far with Tomoya Nakamura and Yoshino Kimura & the Winning Duo Is Chosen (2024-10-31)

The comedy survival show concludes with the Final Stage: a crime scene featuring guests Tomoya Nakamura and Yoshino Kimura. The three remaining duos must attempt the challenging prompt by far: "Join this tense scene and make it funny." Even Daigo draws a blank at this prompt! How will the duos improvise this? Who will be crowned the Golden Duo and win the ten-million-yen prize?!
