In Florida, recently divorced Karen Pannell, is found brutally slain in her own home and a name written with her blood; her boyfriend is on hand to help investigators find her killer--but investigators uncover a motive and deadly secrets. Meanwhile in San Diego, CA, Greg DeVillers, a newlywed and rising star in the Bio-Tech community, is found dead--in an apparent suicide. Her boyfriend, Paul Zumot, collapses in tears when he learns the horrible news.

When a bloody plastic bag is found in a nearby park, this missing persons case turns into a murder investigation.
