Synopsis

Karl and James went sailing through the Caribbean paradise of the San Blas Islands, before arriving in Colombia and trekking through the jungle to The Lost City. After relaxing in Palomino and Taganga we head into Venezuela, to journey to Angel Falls, the highest waterfall on the planet, and then discover the lost world of Roraima mountain.

Karl and James go sailing through the Caribbean paradise of the San Blas Islands, before arriving in Colombia and trekking through the jungle to The Lost City. Ep. 1: Backpackers of the Caribbean: Ep1 - Panama & Colombia (2016-04-17)

Starting in Bocas del Toro, they make a stop-off at The Lost & Found hostel before heading to Portobelo to catch their boat. For the next 5 days they sail through the Caribbean paradise of the San Blas Islands. Arriving in Colombia they gather up a group of friends to do the 5 day trek to Ciudad Perdida (The Lost City) in the jungles of Sierra Nevada.
Ep. 2: Backpackers of the Caribbean: Ep2 - Venezuela (2016-04-24)

Our first stop is Canaima National Park where they take a 4 hour boat journey upstream to Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world. Following this theytravel down to Santa Elena to check out the Gran Sabana before doing the 6 day trek to the lost world of Roraima Mountain. Fans of the film 'Up' will recognise this mountain as it was the inspiration for 'Paradise Falls'.
