Synopsis

Best friends Shikha and Anahita turn entrepreneurs with an exciting craft beer brand, Jugaaro, to stand out in the crowded NCR beer market. However, they face gender discrimination every step of the way. To fight for an equal place in this male dominated sector, they decide to invent a fictitious male partner to help smooth their way. Invariably, things don’t go exactly as planned. What follows are their collective adventures & misadventures in trying to build a successful start-up amidst the current boom, as the bunch of misfits band together and become a family.

But when their path to glory is blocked by those who think beer, business and women just don't mix, they are forced to use some rather unconventional methods - only to land them in further chaos amidst beer barons, mobsters and a monster of their own making.

When beer baron Vikram Walia, the man who destroyed her father's business, acquires the company Shikha works for, she does what she always does - grab a beer with her bestie Anahita and vent her woes. But when Anahita gets corporate-screwed herself, they hatch a plan to launch their own beer brand and give Walia a taste of his own medicine.

Shikha and Anahita real hustle begins, and their hunt for a brewmaster leads them to an eccentric addition to their team. Stuck between sexist investors and government red tape, they realise that the unexpected solution to all their problems was hidden in plain sight.

With the invention of their mysterious mentor David Jones, everything changes for Shikha and Anahita. Deals get done and their path seems to be easing, but maintaining their elaborate ruse is no easy task as the legend of David grows beyond their expectations.

Bankruptcy looms after the latest disaster, forcing Shikha and Anahita right into arms of the shady Laila. But when Laila demands to meet David Jones in person, they rush to find the perfect candidate to bring their fictional mentor to life.
