When Sophie, a woman estranged from her Korean culture, befriends a native Korean woman at her local grocery store, her life is thrown into disarray as the friendship takes an unexpected turn.

In an act of rebellion, 15-year-old James steals his father's car and goes on a night ride with his friend Ryan. When caught by the police, his father is not the only one waiting for them at the station.
