Synopsis
Send in the Dogs is a British documentary television series about the work of the British Transport Police's police dogs. The first series of four episodes aired on ITV from 15 July to 5 August 2008. The show was renewed the following year, and a second series of eight episodes aired on ITV from 21 July to 8 September 2009.

A look at the work of the Metropolitan Police dog unit - 300 dogs and their handlers tackling crime in the capital in their own unique way. During the day, spaniels are sniffing out drugs on the streets of Camden, while in the dead of the night, German shepherd dogs will 'track and attack' armed robbers. These canines and their handlers are in the front line of the battle against crime in London.
