Ep. 1: The Life of Larry (1995-01-01)

This short clip created by Seth MacFarlane featured a middle-aged slob named Larry Cummings, his cynical talking dog, Steve, supportive wife Lois, and pudgy teenage son Milt. The film begins with a live-action segment where MacFarlane, as himself, briefly describes the show and its characters. The film includes many of the same gags that would appear in the first few episodes of Family Guy, such as the Star Trek parody in "I Never Met the Dead Man." The live-action footage of MacFarlane was referenced in the Adult Swim bumps of MacFarlane introducing his favorite episodes of Family Guy, noticeably the nonchalant line, "Oh, hi there. You scared the crap out of me." In the bumps, he sat in a chair by a fireplace of a study, as in the short.
Ep. 2: Larry & Steve (1997-04-28)

This short was produced for the "What a Cartoon!" showcase series on Cartoon Network and uses Seth MacFarlane's characters from "The Life of Larry". After saving Steve from the dog pound, Larry takes him home, but the sarcastic mutt isn't exactly impressed with the state of Larry's abode. While shopping for new furniture they meet sprightly sales assistant Cindy, who Steve doesn't take well to. Things go awry for the pair as clumsy Larry gets the duo into several sticky situations - and manages to destroy the entire furniture shop.
Ep. 3: Family Guy (Pilot) (1998-12-20)

The original Pilot of Family Guy. The story of the pilot is similar to what would eventually become the first aired episode, "Death Has a Shadow", with distinct differences in the character designs, animation and writing. The first seven minutes are included on the Volume 1 DVD set.

"The Family Guy 100th Episode Special" is a special episode from the sixth season of Family Guy. The episode aired on November 4, 2007, and was followed by the actual 100th episode, "Stewie Kills Lois". It was hosted by Seth MacFarlane, who presented the funniest clips of all 99 previous episodes. This is also the only episode to credit Lacey Chabert, Meg's voice artist in the first production season, who was not credited in earlier episodes due to a contractual agreement.
Ep. 12: The List (Stewie's Banned Song) (2007-11-11)

This song was deleted out of the final television broadcast of the episode "Lois Kills Stewie". Stewie Griffin, who is now the president of the world, broadcasts from the White House live and details all the people who he sees as undesirable and will not be missed.
