Synopsis

Carmy, a young fine-dining chef, comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop. As he fights to transform the shop and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.

從第一季到第三季，最凸顯演員演技和劇情張力的往往是最悲傷、絕望或生氣的那集。第四季試圖改變這點，他們也成功了，當我看到第八和九集時，以為最後一集會像很多影集慣性的把劇情轉折拉到極點，但他們巧秒的在這部分做出了改變。劇中每個演員都非常優秀，即使配角和客串演員都感受到他們為劇情付出的努力。劇情也讓每位角色都有鮮明的個性，不善表達又心思細膩的Carmy 、善解人意又忠誠的Sydney、擅長人際交流又暖心的Richie，還記得當初是為了Jon Bernthal看的，沒有人比他更適合演出Michael那種一些叛逆但同時有著和Carmy一樣的情緒敏感，這當中的所有角色沒有一個是純粹為了增加觀眾而選擇的，都有他們立體的角色和演出的空間。觀賞完第四季後，團隊已宣布續約第五季，大概就是最後一季了，希望他們好好處理這一季，這是我目前為止看過最喜歡的影集。
