Yogi, always looking for a way to escape and regain his freedom, quickly decides that he must come up with a grand plan to break out of the enclosure and resume his picnic basket-stealing activities.

"My Buddy Blubber" is an episode from The New Yogi Bear Show (1988). In this episode, Yogi Bear meets a new character: a lovable but somewhat clumsy whale named Blubber. Blubber is a large, friendly whale who has gotten lost and ended up in Jellystone Park. Yogi, of course, sees this as an opportunity to make the most of the situation, thinking that Blubber could be a useful ally in his ongoing quest for picnic baskets. However, Yogi soon discovers that Blubber, despite his size and enthusiasm, has a few challenges when it comes to fitting into the park’s environment.
