Ep. 1: Around the Lake District
Renowned for its natural beauty the Lake District is a spectacular area to view by rail. This is a journey around Cumbria and the Lake District which begins at Carnforth, through to Oxenholme, then Stavely and then on to Windermere, home to the Windermere Steamboat Museum. The journey then follows onto Cark, Ulverston and finally the city of Carlisle.

From the rolling hills of Perthshire to the jagged mountains of Skye, this program takes you on one of Great Britain's most outstanding scenic railway journeys, visiting the various tourist attractions along the way. On this spectacular journey you'll see expert glass-blowing, whiskey distilling, the Highland Games, beautiful towns and villages, all amidst the splendor of the Beautiful Scottish Highlands. Finally British Rail's famous Class 37 diesels carry you along the final stage from Inverness to the Kyle of Lochalsh.

To travel by train around the Peak District is one of the oldest and most enjoyable ways to experience the natural beauty of the great British countryside. We move into the once industrial heart of Great Britain, through the Standage Tunnel, visiting places like Hathersage, inspiration for Brontë's Jane Eyre and Little John's burial place, Buxton with its rich spa heritage, and the National Tramway Museum in Crich.

Ep. 9: East Anglia
East Anglia boasts picturesque towns and villages and miles of magnificent coastline. The Cambridge to Sheringham train provides a delightful introduction to rural England. We start off our journey at Cambridge. Settled since Roman times, we visit sights such as Kings College, built in the 16th century. From here we move to such places as Newmarket, famous home of the Jockey Club, and much more.

Ep. 10: Weymouth to Isle of Wight
To travel by train along the English South coast is one of the best ways to experience and enjoy the great British countryside, combining popular resorts with beautiful scenery. Beginning at Weymouth, we travel to Dorchester, and its military museum. From here we journey to Wool, home of the Tank Museum with 300 tanks permanently on display. Our journey continues to the Isle of Wight.
