As the firefighters celebrate the birthday of one of their own, they get a distress call informing them that a major explosion has rocked Beirut. Despite their hopes to control the fire, the situation turns into a tragedy.

As Emad and his wife celebrate the latter's pregnancy with their second child, Emad is forced to leave her at home and rush to the Port of Beirut to help control the fire. But as the explosion rocks the city, Emad's wife is informed of his death.

As Mira and her friend go for an audition for a movie role, her journey back leaves her fate unknown as all hell breaks loose.

As Yousef and his friend Mostafa go fishing, fire breaks out, prompting Yousef to try to go back home. But as the fire turns into a major explosion, Yousef's car is blasted into the sea where the water swallows him.

Mona goes to the hospital for her daughter's dangerous surgery as the explosion occurs. At the hospital, she meets a woman who lost her son and who tries to convince Mona that she is lucky.

As Tarek and Maya have a photo session prior to their wedding, the fire causes Maya to have difficulty breathing, before the situation escalates and the fire turns into an explosion.

A couple's beach vacation takes a morbid turn as the wife shares how she wants her funeral to go when she dies. On their way back home, the explosion turns the day into a tragedy as the husband is killed.

Fadl clashes with his father, Abbas, as he tries to push his son to find a job. In the wake of the explosion, Fadl desperately looks for his father, vowing to do whatever his father wants if he finds him.

When Maya gets severely injured, a stranger takes her in his car as he looks for help. He finally manages to get her to a hospital, but disappears before telling her who he is.

As the explosion destroys their house, a mother tries to survive with her baby when they get trapped inside. The neighbors finally manage to reach them and lend a hand.

During the explosion, a girl recalls her ordinary life with her brother in their family home. As she wakes up in the aftermath, she discovers that she has lost her brother.

Sarah has always dreamed of establishing contact with outer space. After the explosion, her father looks for her everywhere after he loses his hand. When he finally finds her in the hospital, he learns that all her dreams have come to an end.
