Biography
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida to Jordanian immigrants, I am a new independent filmmaker with a passion that spans a lifetime. For as long as I can remember, I was watching movies and enjoying them to the highest degree. Characters, stories, themes, they all stuck with me from such a young age. As I got older, my appreciation for the craft of filmmaking and the effect that the medium can have on an audience deepened more and more. Despite opting to pursue an Engineering degree in my college years, my heart and passion was always at the movies. After graduating, getting a job, marrying my incredible wife, and welcoming our first daughter into the world last year, I decided it was time to take a proper swing at filmmaking with my first ever short film. Drawing from my technical discipline, cultural perspective, and overall love for cinema, I aim to tell stories in a way that connects with people on a genuine, deep level.
