Valentina "Val" Palavecino is a prominent Chilean documentary photographer. Her work covers portraiture, music, culture, and politics, standing out for its intimate and human perspective. She is the author of the photobook Cámara Lenta (Slow Motion), which compiles a decade of her visual work." She has worked with prominent figures of her home-country, including musicians such as Mon Laferte, Gepe, and Francisca Valenzuela, and politicians such as the 37th President of Chile, Gabriel Boric and the Minister General Secretariat of Government, Camila Vallejos.
