Biography
Ahmad Fouaad Negm is one of the most important colloquial poets in Egypt, one of the most influential Egyptian Leftists and a prominent figure in art and poetry dedicated to toiling masses against corrupt ruling classes. Because of that, he was imprisoned for 18 years.
