Biography
Marissa Goldman is an LA/NY based filmmaker. Her most recent short, Max Distance, premiered at SXSW and went on to play Aspen Shortsfest, Palm Springs Shortsfest and more. It will premiere on Nowness and Vimeo Staff Picks next year. Her previous shorts have been selected by NoBudge, Brooklyn Film Festival, New/Next film festival and more. She has made work for Adult Swim, Vice, Complex, and more. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vulture, Teen Vogue, Fast Company, WNYC, Directors Notes, Film Shortage, Time Out NY. She directed and created the first pandemic live-streamed comedy and video show "Marissa's Google Doc Quarantine Party," and it was highlighted by Google Arts and Culture. In addition to her narrative work, Marissa makes branded content and social media videos for various brands. She has a degree from RISD in film. Currently, she is working on a few new projects including her first feature.
