Biography
Gerd Rigauer (born June 18, 1939, in Wilhelmsdorf) is a German actor, voice-over artist, and radio drama performer. Gerd Rigauer completed his acting training from 1962 to 1964 at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. Over the course of his career, he appeared in more than 50 film and television productions and also established himself as a voice-over artist and radio drama performer. Among his notable roles is his portrayal of Karl Eberhard Schöngarth in the docudrama *Die Wannseekonferenz*. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Rigauer also appeared regularly on the theater stage. For instance, he performed in *Am Strand der weiten Welt* at the Volkstheater Wien in 2008; in *Heldenplatz* at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck in 2010; and in *Spamalot* and *Die Fahnenweihe* at the Luisenburg Festival in 2013.
