Biography
Ludger Burmann (born August 4, 1956, in Werne) is a German actor. Burmann received acting training from Anneliese Römer. From 1984 to 1989, he was a permanent ensemble member at the Dortmund Municipal Theater. Since the late 1980s, he has appeared in numerous television series and radio drama productions. He frequently portrays down-to-earth characters, such as farmers, construction workers, or caretakers. Burmann gained particular recognition for his role as Darius Pawelczik in the WDR series *Die Anrheiner*, as well as its spin-off series, *Ein Fall für die Anrheiner*. Starting in 2012, he also played the role of Walter Berger in the telenovela *Rote Rosen*. In addition to his acting work, Burmann also works as a funeral and wedding officiant. He resides in his birthplace, Werne.
