Rei Nakahara (中原れい, Nakahara Rei, March 17, 1964) is a Japanese manga artist, mechanical designer and director from Tokyo. His professional debut was with the manga Deroianana-chan (デロイアナナちゃん) in the magazine Dual Magazine. At that time he used the pseudonym Rei Amuro (あむろ・れい, Amuro Rei). He also writes storyboards.
