She holds dual degrees from the University of Illinois: a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her on-screen career launched with a guest role on Empire (FOX). Her breakthrough came when she stepped into a leading role on Sisters (BET), showcasing her versatility and command in front of the camera.
