Mark Houghton (I) – American actor and filmmaker, trained in Los Angeles and New York, with no publicly recorded birthplace or birthday. He has performed on stage in New York, Los Angeles, and London, including lead roles in Shepard's True West, Beckett's Waiting for Godot, Shakespeare's Timon of Athens, and Mamet's The Shawl. His most notable film roles include Agent John Sanders in Snakes on a Plane (2006, a role in which his character is killed by a snake bite), Bauer in Elektra (2005), and a Denied Area Security Guard in Mission: Impossible (1996). He also appeared in The Invisible (2007), Walking Tall (2004), and Fear X (2003). On television he has appeared in Smallville (2001), Stargate SG-1 (1997, 2005), Battlestar Galactica (2004), Dark Angel (2000), Without a Trace (2008), and The L Word (2004).
