Shinomiya Yoshitoshi is a Japanese artist and filmmaker. He is best known for being a background artist on animated films like Pompo: The Cinéphile (2021), Your Name. (2016), Napping Princess (2017), The Garden of Sinners: Future Gospel (2013), The Garden of Words (2013) and Children Who Chase Lost Voices (2011). In 2026, He made his feature film directorial and screenwriting debut with the animated film At The Dawn, which had its world premiere at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Golden Bear.
