Biography
Gulya Korolyova (Marionella Vladimirovna Korolyova) was a Soviet child actress, born on September 9, 1922, in Moscow. She appeared in films from a young age, including Women of Ryazan (1927) and Partisan's Daughter (1936), before leaving acting to study and later join the Red Army during World War II. Korolyova became a war hero, serving as a medic and dying heroically in the Battle of Stalingrad on November 23, 1942, for which she was posthumously honored.
