Hyash Tanmoy seeks meditative resilience through moving images and undefined art forms, navigating the cross-pollination of socio-cultural interrogation, speculative rituals, and political reimagination. Their practice blends post-cinematic experimentation with the development of South Asian cinema infrastructure, preserving endangered silhouettes. Recognised by prestigious platforms such as Berlinale Talents, Locarno Industry Academy, DocEdge India, Climate Story Lab-south Asia, Kyoto Filmmaker's Lab, Emerging Curators Lab, BIFAN and Ars Electronica. Hyash's works have been awarded and critically acclaimed at global festivals/ exhibition forums.
