Biography
Luke Cook is an Australian actor, director, and writer best known for his role as Lucifer Morningstar in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Born on December 19, 1986, in Sydney, Australia, Cook is the youngest of five children and grew up in a religious household, with his father serving as a church minister. He discovered his passion for acting in grade school and later moved to Los Angeles at age 22 to pursue his career. Cook’s breakout role came in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, where his charismatic portrayal of Lucifer earned him widespread recognition. He has also appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Dollface, Dynasty, Modern Family, and Katy Keene. His stage work includes performing alongside Al Pacino and Judith Light in Dotson Rader’s God Looked Away. Outside of acting, Cook is known for his comedic social media presence and philanthropic efforts, including fundraising for hospitals in Sierra Leone and supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He married Kara Wilson in 2020, and they have three children together. Standing at 6′ 5¼″, Cook continues to build a diverse career across television, film, and theater.
