She entered the Conservatoire National d'Art Dramatique in Michel Bouquet's class, and pursued an interesting and atypical career that spanned theatre, television, commercial cinema and auteur cinema. She was the heroine of Éric Rohmer's Conte de Printemps (1990) and one of the main characters in several films and television series.
