Biography
He took lessons on film receivers and screeners from S. Weinberg, participated in World War I as a reserve officer, was assigned to shoot films in the army, filmed the destruction of the monument built by the Russians in Yeşilköy (4.11.1914), and in 1915, by the order of Enver Pasha, he established the Central Army Cinema Department. He founded it, managed it with S.Weinberg, shot various war, document, and news films, and showed military films in Ayairini. He shot Leblebici Horhor but could not complete it, and shot and directed Himmet Ağa's Marriage. He went to Germany for a course in 1916 and retired in 1954.
