Biography
Eirini Inglesi (1944) was a Greek actress. She worked closely with Pantelis Voulgaris, playing in most of his films: "Stone Years", "Vanizelos", "Quiet Days of August", "Acropol", "Brides", "Little England". For her performance in Pericles Hoursoglu's film "The Gentleman in Grey", she won the 1997 Best Actress award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival. She has also left her mark in the films "Starry Dome" by Kostas Aristopoulos, "Dead Liquor" by Giorgos Karypidis, "Alexandria" by Maria Iliou, "The Slaves in Their Fetters" by Tonis Lykouressis, etc. On the small screen, she had played roles, among others, in the series "The Ten", "The Teacher with the Golden Eyes", "Get Out", "Temptation", "The Life of Atticus". Eirini Inglesi was married to Thanos Mikroutsikos, with whom she had two daughters, Cecile and Konstantina. Her last film appearance was in the film Agia Emmy, for which she received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Hellenic Academy Awards/
