Biography
Kazama Shiori (1966) won the Grand Prix of the Pia Film Festival for young independent film-makers with an 8mm film in 1984, when she was at secondary school. The appearance and noise of a genius girl. In 1989 she produced and directed her first feature Melodies, that was well received by critics and audiences.
