On January 15, 2000, one of Serbia's most famous and controversial political figures was assassinated at the Intercontinental Hotel in Belgrade. His name was Zeljko Rajnatovich. He made a huge contribution to the history of the country, including sports, by lifting the Obilic football club from the bottom and making it the champion of Yugoslavia in 1998.
