Synopsis
A revealing documentary following acclaimed Scottish artist Peter Howson as he undertakes the most ambitious commission of his career: a monumental religious painting for Glasgow’s St Andrew’s Cathedral. Over two turbulent years, the project becomes increasingly consuming, pushing Howson towards financial ruin and a severe mental breakdown as he battles perfectionism, faith and his own troubled state of mind
