Synopsis
Fearful wife Stephanie Swift is determined to escape from controlling, paranoid husband Mr. Pete. After a final night of passion, the exotic beauty goes into hiding at the rustic home of friend Satine Phoenix to start a new life. There, she meets the mysterious Alan Stafford, a farm hand who takes care of horses, but has a dark secret of his own. As Stephanie fights to break free of her past, Alan clings to his, until they discover their only hope is each other.
