Synopsis

An insight and explanation of the Ovambo people of Angola and their smelting tradition. It highlights and examines an ongoing process that contains many examples of cultural ritual. The film is also of interest as it is a piece of work that has been carried out by two of Major Powell-Cotton's daughters, Diana and Antoinette, during a time when women ethnographic film makers where few.
