Kita Merdeka (2020)
Synopsis
"Kita Merdeka" is a television film made as a tribute to frontline workers in this country, including those working in essential services and products. Luq is promoted from a supervisor to a market manager at AEON. In his excitement to celebrate this success with his family, Luq's desire to return to his hometown is limited when the Malaysian government announces a lockdown to deal with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Luq, who is still in the process of adjusting to his new duties, faces various unexpected challenges as AEON Hypermarket is not exempt from the essential industry. Besides ensuring an adequate supply of basic necessities, Luq also needs to convince his employees not to panic and to remain safe when dealing with customers.
