Phone Line (1991)
Synopsis
Public Information Film with Traditional Animation for the charity 'Samaritans'. A phone audibly rings while abstract, white line animations are shown on a black background. Various people are heard talking, saying distressing things to a man. These sounds grow more intense, until they stop, with the sound of the man picking up the phone and screaming replacing it. The animations at this point now depict a telephone with teeth letting out the scream. Infamous for being Rated 'U' for cinema showing by the BBFC due to the surreal animation and loud distressing audio.
