Synopsis
An international student hosts her visiting parents in her Sydney flat, and spends two fraught days wrestling with her mother’s unspoken social expectations and apprehensions about the life her daughter has chosen to build in Australia. This finely wrought, elegantly shot family drama expresses the complex emotions of intergenerational diaspora through closely observed everyday moments.
